Mesaieed Industrial City (MIC), which is wholly owned and operated by
QP, is strategically located 35 kilometers south of Doha, the capital
city, and boasts a fully serviced modern Port, export facilities, and
a rapidly expanding community. It accommodates a large number of
industries including Petrochemical, Fertilizers, Refineries, and
Natural Gas Processing Plants. Qatar Petroleum is implementing many
large capital development projects to modernise the city s
infrastructure, Port and Community Facilities, and as part of this
exciting expansion program they seek to recruit the following who will

FACILITIES

Senior Planning Technician
Secondary Education, followed by 2 years technical training in
Engineering or equivalent. 4 years experience in planning, maintenance
and cost control in the petrochemical/refinery/Industrial plants.
Working knowledge of established computerized planning and scheduling
tools and SAP Integrated modules.

Foreman
High School Education plus 10 years related experience in an Oil / Gas
Industry and transport equipment operation environment.

General Technician (Inspection)
High School education plus 2 years diploma course in Mechanical
Engineering. 7 years experience in inspection field preferably in
Oil/Gas Industries. PCN/ ASNT levels in NDT. Computer literate.

MAINTENANCE

General Technician (Instrument)
Higher Secondary education, followed by 2 years training in
instrumentation, Control Engineering or similar plus courses in safety
and specific manufacturer s systems and maintenance procedures. 7-8
years experience as instrument Technician in oil Refinery or
petrochemical industry in the installation and maintenance.

Draftsman
Formal training as a draftsman with a recognized technical institute
in Engineering Disciplines preferably HND or HNC. 7 – 10 years of
practical experience in a Refinery / Petrochemical Facility. Advanced
AutoCAD knowledge required.

IT Technician (System Operator)
Diploma in engineering discipline. 8-10 years experience in computer
system and Network. Working knowledge in Oracle and Unix). Experience
In EDMS.

Senior Technician (Electrical)
Diploma in Electrical Engineering. 10 years practical experience in
installation, maintenance, and trouble shooting of high and low
voltage electrical systems in a Petrochemical Industry.

General Technician (Electrical)
Completion of industrial secondary (12 years) education in electrical
discipline.7 years practical experience in installation, maintenance,
and trouble shooting of high and low voltage electrical systems, power
generation and plant electrical equipment in a petroleum or
petrochemical industry.

OPERATIONS

Panel Operators (FCC)
Higher Secondary education plus 7 years of operations experience in
relevant units in Refinery. 2 years technical training or equivalent.
Solid knowledge of DCS / Panel Operations.

Operators
Higher Secondary education plus 7 years operations experience in
refinery. Good working knowledge of relevant process units. Good
surveillance, vigilance and control in Operations. Fire fighting
/First Aid/ BA/H2S training.

General Operators
Higher Secondary education plus 7 Years of operations experience in
relevant units of Refinery. 2 Years technical training. Fire
fighting/First Aid/BA/H2S training.
