Vacancy for MECHANICAL ENGINEERING / INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING

Assistant Engineer
(International Business Park)

Responsibilities:
° Assist in operation and proper preventive maintenance of water system and steam sterilizer
° Assist in water system and steam sterilizer validation activities
° Create protocols and validation deliverables
° Perform studies and process improvements to optimize process
° Work with QA to ensure work carried out comply to regulatory requirements
° Work with QA to devise quality checkpoint for equipment process
° Perform change control validation
° Create SOPs

Requirements:
° Degree / Diploma in relevant engineering discipline
° Preferably with some experience in water system and or steam sterilizer validation
° Preferably with basic knowledge of cGMP, Japanese regulatory requirements (MHLW) and FDA
° Possess good analytical skills
° Preferably familiar with the usage of statistical methods
° Excellent written and communication skills
° Must be capable of working as part of a team
° Able to independently complete all specific responsibilities with minimal supervision
° Computer proficient in MS Office

Moulding Engineer
(International Business Park)

Responsibilities:
° Provide an engineering lead in moulding line development and scale up activities
° Lead in the moulding line validation processes
° Document all trail and qualification activities into summary reports for supporting evidence to validation and knowledge building within the company
° Deliver project based process, improvements, individually and as part of the team
° Develop and manage suppliers, including new or alternative ones where required
° Perform other tests to assist in technical support and process improvement

Requirements:
° Degree in relevant engineering or scientific discipline. Allowance can be made for relevant experience
° Minimum 2 years experience in medical device moulding processes preferred
° Experience in validation preferred
° Minimum 2 years experience of contact lens manufacture, measurement and tolerances
° Understanding of lens quality issues and their causes
° Understanding of statistical process control
